Policies And Documents
There are three different types of policies needed for the efficient running of the school, Personnel, Finance and Curriculum. The Cathedral School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School and therefore all staff are employed by the Governors. Essex County Council and the Department for Children Schools and Families produce many policies that address the needs of employment and finance which are adopted by the Governors having personalised them to suit our school. Governors are advised and updated by Essex CC Human Resources department when any changes occur.
The curriculum policies are created by Staff and Governors and are reviewed regularly, Inclusion, Educational Visits and the SRE policies are reviewed annually. When Governors visit they often discuss policies with staff and the curriculum coordinator.
