Year 5 children from the Cathedral School enjoyed a fabulous time on their residential trip to the JCA Pestalozzi Activity Centre near Hastings from Monday 6^th July to Friday 10^th July.

The 22 girls and 13 boys were accompanied by Mrs Emuss, Mrs Hodge and Mr Richardson and ably assisted by excellent instructors in Carli, Harry, Remy and Richard.

Highlights included conquering fears on the zipwire, abseiling and the climbing wall, making camp fires and dens and working as teams to complete initiative exercises. Everybody enjoyed the meals and the final evening finished with a talent show around a camp fire with toasted marshmallows.
