Year 2 children were invited to take part in a Mini Olympics Festival at Melbourne Athletics Stadium on Friday 12^th June. The children represented Uganda and learned about the country in their geography work as well as making hats and banners in art.

The event proved to be a valuable introduction to sporting competitions for the children and they particularly enjoyed marching as a team in the opening ceremony.
