The Cathedral School annual sports day took place on the field on Tuesday 23^rd June. All the children took part in the water race, obstacle race, dressing up race and sack race to earn points for their teams: Christy, Marconi, Hoffmann and Crompton.

There was even a toddlers’ race and a sack race for the parents, before the children enjoyed a picnic lunch on the field with their families.

The afternoon finished with relays and sprint races for the juniors.

After a gruelling day’s competition in hot conditions all the teams scored over 900 points. The final positions were; 1^st Crompton (Green) with 983.5pts, 2^nd Christy (Blue) 966.5pts, 3^rd Hoffmann (Yellow) 948pts, 4^th Marconi (Red) 921pts.
