Welcome to
The Cathedral C of E (VA) Primary School

At the Cathedral C of E Primary School, we welcome children, their parents and families into a warm, friendly and hardworking environment where our Christian Vision and Values are at the heart of all we do.

We hope that our website provides a sense of our values, and the aspirations we have for the pupils in our care. Please explore further to learn more about our school or contact us to arrange a visit. We look forward to meeting you!

The Cathedral School is proud to be a church school and we work very closely with Chelmsford Cathedral.

Our Vision & Values

At The Cathedral School we are proud of our distinctive church ethos. ‘Flourishing Together – rooted in love’ drives everything we do.

We aim to be distinctive in our Christian Character by living out this vision alongside our values of compassion, courage, wisdom and hope daily. Our staff are role models in the way they interact with each other and with our pupils, living out our school vision and values in all they do. Visitors often comment on the behaviour of our children and that they are polite and respectful individuals.

Our 4 Christian values are firmly rooted into the daily life of the school.
