Children will be going on an exciting visit to Thorndon Country Park. For this trip, children should wear: ✔ Long, comfortable trousers ✔ The red school PE sweatshirt/jumper (essential for easy identification) ✔ Appropriate comfortable shoes, preferably wellies Weather Considerations: • Please provide a waterproof coat in case of rain. • If the weather is warm, apply sun cream before school and send your child with a sun hat. Please don’t forget they will need a packed lunch & drinks are required, (no fizzy drinks please) in a disposable bag.

Pirate Day for Key Stage One26Mar2025

We would like to invite the children to dress up as pirates if they would like to. This could be a costume, or a pirate hat, stripy t-shirt or eye patch, it's up to you. No wooden legs please! :-) The children can come into school dressed as pirates but please ensure that EVERYTHING is named. There is no pressure to come in costume and we will be making pirate hats as part of the day's activities. If your child chooses not to dress up, they may come in plain clothing and we will transform them into a pirate!
